For OCTOBER 4, 2004 SPECIAL TOWN MEETING

I. Call to Order: 8:00 p.m. - Town Hall
As there was no one from the public in attendance it was agreed that the reading of the following public hearing notice that appeared in The Enterprise could be waived:

PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
Notice is hereby given pursuant to Chapter 40A, Section V, that a PUBLIC HEARING will be held by the Hanson Planning Board to discuss the following Zoning Articles submitted for and included in the warrant for Town Meeting. The PUBLIC HEARING will be held on September 15, 2004, at 9:00 PM in the Hanson Town Hall, located on Liberty Street, Hanson, MA. At the Town Meeting, the Board will, as required by law, make a recommendation to the voters. Copies of the proposed revisions will be available for public viewing during regular business hours at the Office of the Town Clerk at Hanson Town Hall.
Article: To see if the Town will vote to amend the Hanson Zoning Bylaw, Section VII.F.2.a., Site Plan Review, by deleting the number 3 and inserting the number 2 or take any other action in relation thereto.
Proposed by the Zoning Bylaw Committee
Article: To see if the Town will vote to amend the Hanson Zoning Bylaw, Section VII.B., Area, Frontage, Yard and Floor Area Requirements, by deleting the word “following” after the word “Table” and inserting the words “of Dimensional Requirements” or take any other action in relation thereto.

II. Presentation of Zoning Articles
Town Planner Noreen O’Toole told the Board that the purpose of the first proposed amendment is to correct a typographical error and the purpose of the second is to make the location of the Table of Dimensional Requirements more clear.
